Mehreen Ghanchi is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who is qualified to practice in psychiatry; diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Some of her practice specialties include (but not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. Mehreen’s heart and passion is not only in caring for others but assisting clients in transitioning to wellness. Mehreen’s experience includes several years of working in a psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescent and adult population. Mehreen has earned Master of Science in nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center.

Mehreen is actively engaged in looking for ways to promote mental health in the community either through research or education. Her research interests include improving communication in the clinical setting and increasing access to psychiatric care. It is a lifelong dream of Mehreen’s to end the stigma associated with mental illness. Her believe is mental health treatment should be as accessible as any other medical treatment. She would also like for all people suffering from a mental health condition to be free from shame or guilt.
