Meredith Spears is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2022. She has a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the College of Charleston and a Master of Social Work from Boston University, School of Social Work. Meredith believes in a treatment philosophy that is client-centered and structured around a strengths-based perspective. She approaches her clients warmly with curiosity, thoughtfulness, and care while using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and humanistic therapy to help them develop skills that will prepare them for any challenges they may face throughout their lives. Meredith feels individual is unique and deserving of custom treatment plans that are created to meet their needs. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys trying out new coffee shops, reading, spending time with friends and family, and taking her dog on walks around Boston.

Meredith received her clinical social work training at Boston University, where she earned her Master of Social Work (MSW). While earning her master’s degree, Meredith gained her experience through her clinical internships at Boston Adult Technical Academy and at Boston Children’s Hospital at Waltham.
