Miranda Enriquez, LMFT

Creating a space of empathy, safety, and trust is my number one priority.

As a therapist, I strongly believe in client’s ability to achieve goals, execute desired change, navigate struggle, and heal in new empowering ways. Having walked with numerous clients through different stages of their journey I understand the importance of a tailored approach for every individual. I believe in working alongside clients to assist them in uncovering patterns, behaviors, and pain that is hindering them from achieving their goal.

My main areas of specialty are anxiety, depression, trauma related issues and responses, substance use disorders, life transitions, and women’s issues. Depending on the need and personality of the individual I pull from various modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic therapies, and Mindfulness. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Originally from Texas, I received my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA.
