My experience as a licensed professional counselor has taught me that you are the expert when it comes to you. I have the training, skills, compassion and enthusiasm to support you in reaching your goals, finding healing, and tapping into your personal empowerment. Whatever you have done in life to get to this moment is your success. Reaching out for support has only furthered your empowerment. As your therapist I will invite you to challenge strategies that may have outlived their usefulness and work with you to develop additional tools to thrive.

I have an integrative approach to the therapeutic process and remain on the cutting edge with training and professional development. Although my framework is Feminist Theory based, I pull from Humanistic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Multicultural Therapy and Dialetical Behavioral Therapy. I have an interest in the effectiveness of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as well as Somatic Therapy.

We don’t exist in a vacuum. We are members of a family, ethnicity, culture, society, gender, sexual orientation, etc. You have layers upon layers of experiences which make you, you. Our experiences in these realms of life contribute to our identities. Exploring who we are is information into how we heal and live a life we can manage and enjoy, not escape.
