Norma Jones, LPC-A

Supervised By: Shannon Dusza LPC-S

Norma Graduated with her M.A in Counseling from Criswell College. During her time at Criswell she was an intern at Dallas Life, working with the homeless population in DFW. She also worked as an intern at Promise House where they help troubled youth. One thing she has learned from her experiences is that it doesn’t matter what background or socioeconomic status we come from; we all deal with trauma, loss or painful moments in our life. Mrs. Jones is a passionate counselor who seeks to meet her clients where they are. An important aspect for Norma is that her clients feel safe and heard during a session. Working together with the client in a collaborative effort and with open communication will be at the forefront. Norma is fluent in Spanish and English and has an understanding for how culture affects the way we view therapy. She enjoys working with kids, adolescents and adults on various issues such as but not limited to: life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Her goal is to create a hope filled environment with an awareness of the real life struggles present.
