I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience in the field of psychiatry. I have a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Walden University (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2010) from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas.

I treat clients ages 12 and up with behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma history, ADHD, bipolar disorder, gender identity issues and schizoaffective disorders. I utilize supportive, solution-focused and psychodynamic therapeutic modalities to ensure optimal outcomes for my patients.

Prior to advanced practice, I worked as a registered nurse in Psychiatry, Medicine/Surgery/Telemetry, Orthopedics, and as a Charge nurse at Baylor Orthopedic & Spine hospital in Arlington, Tx. During that time, I also worked as a Charge nurse at Texas Heath Springwood Behavioral Health Hospital Bedford, Tx for several years.
