Pam Pawelski, LCSW, works to provide a comfortable and non-judgmental space for clients to be their true selves. Her aim in therapy is to help individuals to feel heard and accepted, and to help them with their struggles, whether it be feeling misunderstood, anxious, overwhelmed, having low self-esteem, or needing help recovering from trauma or challenging relationships. Pam works to create a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients to enable trust and compassion through therapy.

In session, Pam is an integrative therapist who meets the client where they are, considering the individual’s interests, spiritual beliefs, and identity. Pam is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and clinical hypnosis. Her other therapeutic approaches include internal family systems/parts work therapy, emotional freedom technique, and mindfulness.

Pam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago. Pam finds her peace through meditation, gardening, cooking, playing board games, and mastering Wordle.
