Philippe Levy, MD

Dr. Philippe Levy is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, and is passionate about innovative care models that break down barriers between our physical health and mental health care needs. He completed his undergraduate degree in Classics at UC Berkeley, and his M.D. degree and residency training at UC Davis School of Medicine, eventually becoming chief resident of the Internal Medicine/Psychiatry residency program. His core philosophy of treatment for the whole person, rooted in this dual training, focuses on an open-minded, compassionate, trauma-informed, and medically-oriented approach to mental health. Dr. Levy has presented on integrated care topics at national conferences and academic grand rounds. He was awarded the Trainee Research Award by the UC Davis Health System Department of Internal Medicine for his co-authorship of a book chapter on the management of personality disorders in primary care settings. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Association of Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Levy has been with LifeStance Health since 2021.
