Dr. Bello employs different aspects of a child’s life to come up with the most accurate diagnosis. She uses a psychosocial approach and invite the parents and child to actively participate in the treatment to ensure the most successful outcome.

Dr. Bello has worked in a variety of settings including medication management, intensive outpatient treatment, day treatment and can offer many years of experience since completing her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University in 2005.

Dr. Bello specializes in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and behavioral disorders. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and a behavioral modification approach in addition to medications to help patients reach their goals.
