I attended West Virginia University School of Medicine for both medical school and my residency training in Psychiatry. I am passionate about improving the lives of patients with mental illness through a combination of medication management and brief psychotherapy interventions. I practice Psychiatry using an integrative approach that includes coordination with your other doctors, attempting to strengthen social supports, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.

New patient visits typically last for an hour. During this time I will to hear your concerns, obtain a history to establish a timeline of symptoms, and work with you to develop a plan of care. During follow up appointments (typically 30 minutes in length), we will review your response to your treatment(s) and make adjustments as needed.
