Dr. Elizabeth Owen, PhD Dr. Elizabeth Owen has more than 20 years of experience providing services to people in various settings; hospitalized, outpatient, and those with criminal justice involvement. Liz is a published author on trauma and topics within forensic psychology. She graduated in 2001 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and continues to teach in the program she graduated from. Her primary approach is a deep and abiding respect for people and their individual experiences.
