Psychologist and Therapist in Gresham, Oregon Joni Moon, Psychologist

Joni Moon is a clinical psychologist who has been practicing in Oregon since 2004. She graduated from George Fox University with her Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. She completed her internship and residency at Portland State University in the Student Health and Counseling Center.



Joni believes the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy. She strives to create a warm and safe space for clients to work on their challenges and concerns. Joni incorporates skills and strategies from CBT, DBT and interpersonal therapy in her work with clients. In addition to working with clients, Joni is the training director for the psychology internship program. She enjoys being of training future psychologists.



In her spare time, Joni enjoys spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her two dogs. She enjoys camping in their vintage trailer, trips to the beach and wandering through antique shops.
