Queeneth Jones, PMHNP

Queeneth is a doctorally prepared board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has training focused on treating mental health conditions across the lifespan. Jones began her career in Emergency medicine with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida at Gainesville. She then earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health from UF in 2015. While providing outpatient services Jones has successfully developed and implemented a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency program and provided mental health care during the ongoing pandemic. She is a current member of the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, the Psychiatric Advance Practice Nurses of North Texas, the American Nurses Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association where she is also a board member. Additionally, Jones gives various speeches at conferences and community mental health expos to increase mental health awareness.
Jones is passionate about ensuring an individualized plan of care for each client to ensure a successful collaborative effort. She provides client-centered care by respecting clients’ and families’ preferences, needs, and values that influence treatment.
Jones provides diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapies for adolescent and adult mental health conditions not limited to ADHD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, dementia, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders.
