Rachel is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her experience includes Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. She believes that together the two of you can work to establish a medication regimen designed to increase your quality of life and minimize symptom presentation. She treats adult patients 18-64 years old. Rachel is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Nursing that includes a focused concentration on Psychiatric Mental Health. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Rachel will always strive to make you feel comfortable and at ease while working together. She understands the angst that can sometimes be present when starting mental health treatment and will work with you to alleviate any discomfort. She realizes that no two patients are alike and treatment is not a one size fits all and will tailor a plan specifically for your needs. Rachel believes in you, and your ability to recover, even though your present suffering may serve to limit your insight in that recovery. She realizes struggling can feel dark, scary, lonely, and even painful and is sensitive to that suffering. She believes that with proper medication management, and counseling, your present suffering can become a distant memory.
