Both of these therapies help people overcome irrational, dysfunctional and unhealthy thought processes that tend to add to and prolong emotional strain and tension.
Message from Rachel: I understand that making the decision to contact a counselor can be difficult. My goal is to make the counseling process as welcoming as possible. My counseling style is relaxed and collaborative in nature. I will take every measure to ensure that my office is a safe place for clients to freely laugh, cry, or express anger as they need. I believe that people not only experience stress from external life events, but the internal thoughts about events that shape their view of reality. It is the thoughts concerning my client’s life story that we will process together to create a path to healing.
