About Rebecca Sloan, LPC

Rebecca understands that taking the first step to seek help can be incredibly hard, but she is here to walk alongside you from the first steps on your journey of healing. She believes in your ability to make changes and work toward a better future, in spite of the struggles in your life. Together you will work to develop understanding and insight, as well as build new skills to face the challenges that have brought you to her office. Rebecca will be there to both encourage and celebrate with you, and work with you through the pain, confusion and sadness in your life. Rebecca is passionate and respectful in her work with teens and adults and believes in the importance of seeing the dignity of every person she encounters. She has had a variety of clinical experiences and is trained in a number of treatment approaches including EMDR, DBT, MI, CBT, Gottman Method and substance abuse treatment. Her practice focus includes anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma reactions, substance use and other related issues. As you develop a therapeutic relationship, she will work with you to determine which evidence-based therapy approaches will best address the concerns you have.
