Richard Cates is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who has been practicing since 2012. He is a graduate of Morehead State University where he attained a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology; as well as a Graduate of Northern Kentucky University where he attained his Master’s in Clinical Counseling.

Richard is a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic therapist who believes in a collaborative treatment approach with a number of different modalities. He believes clients can reach their potential and the goals they look to accomplish in therapy through these steps and methods. His areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse and Dependence, PTSD, ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Behavioral Issues.

In his spare time, Richard is an avid outdoorsman who fishes, hunts, and hikes whenever he can. He enjoys time with his family and cooking regularly.
