Sarah Donohue, LCSW

Sarah Donohue is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes in partnering with clients to explore what is causing their discomfort. Sarah incorporates mindfulness practices into sessions to help calm the often-overactive nervous system. Prior to coming to LifeStance, Sarah worked in Child Welfare for 4 years. She provided a multitude of services for children and families in the foster care system who experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect. She currently works with clients of all ages struggling with Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Life Transitions, Relationship issues, and Life Stressors. She uses techniques of Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and Solution Focused therapy to support clients in their goals for treatment. Sarah earned her BSW from Illinois State University and MSW from University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a life-long learner and values continued education. She is currently enrolled at Loyola University earning her Certificate in Advanced Psychotherapy.
