Sharon is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of Illinois at Chicago.

Sharon’s counseling experience includes work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in various professional and volunteer settings. She has a wide range of experience from working in therapeutic day schools, inpatient addictions counseling to navigating cross-cultural challenges and life transitions. Sharon is committed to providing a safe and supportive space in facilitating the process of growth, change, and healing for individuals and families. She is invested in encouraging people to identify and develop their inner strengths that cultivate positive changes in life.

Sharon finds enjoyment working with people from all walks of life applying a holistic approach to counseling. She is an EMDR trained clinician that uses Client Centered and evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her clinical interests cover a range of issues including adjustment, anxiety, depression, stress-management, substance use, spirituality and more.
