Dr. Stephanie Zeid is a Neuropsychologist and Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in cognitive functioning assessments, health psychology, and cases with co-occurring medical and neuropsychological dual diagnoses for adult patients. Dr. Zeid completed her undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University and her graduate training at Florida Institute of Technology. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Alabama-Birmingham specializing in medical psychology and neuropsychology and completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the University of Texas Health Science Center-McGovern School of Medicine in neuropsychological assessments across the lifespan.

By assessing cognitive function in relation to memory difficulties, dementia, brain injury, stroke, and concussion, Dr. Zeid can provide diagnostic clarification, assessment, treatment, and treatment recommendations for adult patients suffering from brain disorders and related behavioral problems. She completes a thorough clinical interview, conducts a detailed review of current and previous records, and utilizes elegant testing instruments to provide a comprehensive clinical picture for the patient and for other medical and legal professionals at the patient’s request.
In addition to neuropsychological work, Dr. Zeid has developed sub-specialties in the fields of sports psychology and assessment of gifted children and works therapeutically with patients in these specialties on presenting problems including chronic pain, medical conditions, mood disorders, and sports performance challenges.
