I believe you can find inner peace if given the right tools and support. I use a strength based, solution focused approach, along with incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. I have 10 plus years experience of working in the community with all ages, I have enjoyed doing community work with individuals with severe mental illness, supporting them to be successful. I have worked in Community Mental Health for over 6 years and during this time I enjoyed supporting families to achieve their goals and provided them with the resources needed to be successful. I have provided counseling to children in a school setting for 4 years, and have also provided in home, community based and outpatient counseling services. I am trained in TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and have extensive knowledge and expertise in trauma. I have spent many years working with individuals with PTSD and have four years of on-call experience, supporting individuals during times of crisis.
