About Taylor Roberson, LPC

Taylor strives to ensure you feel safe, accepted, and heard from the moment you walk in. She believes that there is no problem “too small” for care, and no problem “too large” for healing. Taylor is passionate about helping you recover, regain control of your life, and thrive, even after experiencing major transitions, stressors, and/or trauma. Taylor understands that you’ve faced many different challenges throughout your life. She knows how, sometimes, your stressors may overpower your ability to cope effectively. She’s here to help: As a counselor, Taylor’s goal is to help you identify the areas of concern, approach them, understand them, find your strength, and make positive changes. Taylor believes counseling is a collaborative process through which you will feel supported, validated, and guided. She’ll help direct your effort and commitment in ways that’ll fuel your growth and overall sense of comfort. Taylor believes you have strength and ability within yourself, and she’ll assist you in uncovering your potential. She’ll see you as a unique individual with unique needs and talents. Taylor individualizes her approach to you, finding just the right balance of various evidence-based treatments and techniques. Taylor received her Bachelors, Masters, and Education Specialist degrees from Clemson University (Go Tigers!). She fell in love with Colorado, and decided to trade the beach for the mountains. Taylor has specialty training in EMDR, prolonged exposure therapy, and play therapy. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and children with depression, anxiety, trauma, impulse-control, relational concerns, substance use, grief, life transitions, and more.
