Teresa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York; She has been a practicing social worker for thirty years and has been with Lifestance since 2020. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Manhattanville College and Master’s in Social Work from The Silver School of Social Work at New Yor University. She is a member of Lifestance’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is completing a Certification in DEI from Cornell University.
Teresa believes in patient centered care and starting where the client is at. She uses a variety of modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychodrama, and CBT. Teresa also uses popular culture and movies to help her clients. She also practices care coordination and works with other treatment providers so that the client gets the best care.
In her spare time Teresa enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
