She draws from a humanistic perspective, prioritizing a safe, nurturing environment with consistent use of empathic and validating responses which enhance a trusting and genuine relationship with her clients. Anne develops practical treatment plans with her clients using strengths-based goals and objectives. She uses theoretical modalities such CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and CPP. With Masters degrees in both Early Childhood Development and Special Education from Teacher's College at Columbia University (1988) and a third Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver (1993) Anne has practiced as a licensed clinician in the Denver area for 30 years. Born and raised in the New York Metro area, Anne now lives in the foothills of Boulder County with her family where they take advantage of the outdoor life. She’s an avid reader, loves to laugh with others, and will always take recommendations for binge-worthy comedies.
