Adriana Ramirez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor who has been practicing since 2008. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling.

Adriana helps her clients overcome many life challenges that include depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Through active listening and non-judgmental methods, she creates a specialized treatment plan that is tailored for each client. Her treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

Adriana has worked in several types of settings such as community mental health; inpatient, residential, and outpatient care, crisis center, and emergency departments. Adriana has provided mental health and substance abuse counseling for county court systems and county-level departments of human services. She also has performed mental health assessments for the State of Colorado (PASRRs). One of her passions is volunteering whenever possible to raise awareness about mental health and substance abuse.
