Alyssa Landry, LPCC
Alyssa Landry is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and National Certified Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2020. She has a BA in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
From a young age, Alyssa always had a passion for helping others. That passion has evolved over the years into her current work as a sex and relationship therapist! She sees the beauty of sexual diversity and the human being in front of her, not a label or diagnosis. She not only accepts all, she embraces all. Alyssa understands the impact of stress on sexual minorities and knows first-hand the importance of having a therapist who embraces the complexities of sexuality + various relationship styles. No power dynamic, fetish, kink, fantasy, behavior, or desire is “too much” for you to discuss together.
Alyssa is also proud to be an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the sex-worker community. She holds a lens that is empowering, sex-positive, and pleasure-oriented. If you want to work on general sex therapy issues, Alyssa also treats the most common concerns that folx bring in. These include: gaps in desire, sexual functioning issues, gender identity, sexual behavior that feels out of control (commonly referred to as “sex addiction”), and many more…
In addition to her sex + relationship work, Alyssa has experience working with adults suffering from stress, anxiety, and depression, feeling stuck in their life transitions, struggling to communicate effectively, needing support around coping skills, wanting improvement with their parenting skills, feeling unheard with their women's issues or men's issues, or experiencing difficulty navigating conflict or tension.
Her office is a judgment-free zone, so Alyssa invites you to roll up your sleeves and get to the stuff you have been afraid to talk about for fear of judgment! Her approach to therapy is tailored to you, and your work together is all about your unique needs. Alyssa can’t wait to get started with you!
In her spare time, you can find Alyssa daydreaming about future travel plans abroad, photographing the Colorado sights, or reading in the mile-high sunshine.
