Jaime Castillo is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2021. It is Alberto’s passion to walk alongside you and assist in identifying and uprooting any barriers to becoming a secure and truly authentic self. He collaborates with his clients to establish what success looks like, and throughout the process, he provides a listening ear and creative techniques to address a multitude of issues. He strives to foster a deeply supportive, judgement-free space where you can challenge and express yourself while uncovering the strengths that lie within you. Above all, he cherishes trust and wants his clients to feel understood, respected, and valued. He has experience in private practice, intensive hospital settings, as well as adult outpatient settings.



He is LGBTQ+ affirming and sensitive to multicultural, inclusion, and diversity issues. The foundation of Alberto’s therapy includes evidence-based and integrative treatments. He emphasizes a client-centered and culturally competent approach to therapy and strives to create treatment plans tailored to the needs of each individual. He often integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, existential, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy into his clinical approach. He also utilizes mindfulness techniques to address physical, interpersonal, and cognitive growth. When working with children and adolescents, he perceives parents and caregivers as essential parts of the process and strives to collaborate intentionally with them.



Alberto is a thrill seeker at heart, and in his spare time he enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, or trying something daring and new! He can also be found reading at a local coffee shop or trying his hand at something artistic.
