Therapist in Augusta, GA William Maynard, Intern

William Maynard, Intern

William "Justin" Maynard is an Intern who plans to graduate from Faulkner University in May. Justin believes the most essential part of therapy is the relationship between the patient and therapist. He uses many different approaches depending on the patient's needs, but most importantly, he provides a safe space to open up and explore one's feelings. Justin has various life experiences, from working as a middle school science teacher, a general contractor, and a youth minister to living for four years in Kisongo, Tanzania. He enjoys golfing, playing video games, working out, and being outdoors in nature. Justin and his wife have two standard poodles named Colt and Ruby, trained therapy dogs that like to be a part of therapy when it is okay with the patient.
