Christine Francis, MA

Christine's clinical interests include working with historically marginalized populations, specifically adolescents, families, and young adults, who present with a range of presentations (anxiety, trauma-related disorders, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and life adjustments). She takes a relational approach and incorporates evidence-based treatments such as family systems therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). Christine Francis received her Bachelor of Science from Lasell University, and Master of Arts in Psychology at William James College. Christine has worked in community mental health, working with children and families. Additionally, she has collaborated with hospital, state, and school systems. In graduate school, she trained at a Boston Public School, partial programs running groups for specialized populations, and a Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) center.
