Teresa earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2014. Since then, she has developed broad clinical experience across inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, private practice, nonprofit, and behavioral health advocacy settings. She has also designed and facilitated parenting psychoeducation classes and adolescent groups focused on self-esteem, social-emotional development, and healthy coping skills.
Teresa has worked with individuals and groups across a wide range of concerns, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, grief, self-harm, chronic pain and illness, anger and stress management, family conflict, suicide risk assessment, and behavioral challenges. She especially enjoys working with tweens, teens, and veterans, providing individual, family, and group therapy.
