Rose Sanford, LPC, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Michigan navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. Rose is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting clients facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life-transition concerns. A particular area of passion for Rose is helping children and families manage childhood behavior issues and school-related challenges. She understands the impact that behavioral concerns can have on a child’s development, family relationships, and academic success. Through approaches such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, parenting skills training, and family-centered interventions, she helps families develop effective strategies that foster healthy communication, emotional regulation, and long-term growth. Rose’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and family therapy interventions to help clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and move toward their personal goals. She also has experience working with individuals navigating trauma, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. In addition, she serves diverse populations, including individuals involved in adoption or foster care, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those with autism spectrum disorders, while offering support for many additional populations and concerns. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2021, Rose has remained committed to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her educational background includes studies at Baker College, Spring Arbor University, and Baker University. Outside of her professional work, Rose enjoys spending time with animals and embracing the outdoors through swimming, biking, kayaking, walking, and seeking new adventures.
