Matt Brazezicke is a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of New York. He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2002 with a master’s in social work. In the more than twenty years since, he has dedicated himself to the field of mental health. Matt has always been passionate about helping people navigate through the challenges resulting mental health concerns and significant life stresses. He has spent extensive time working with adults who experience symptoms such as panic, negative thoughts, low self-esteem and decreased mood commonly associated with diagnosis of Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Additionally, he serves individuals who have experienced a variety of life stressors including grief, loss and life altering events such as the onset of chronic illness. Matt attempts to tailor his approach to meet the needs of his clients using several clinical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, person centered therapy and bereavement therapy. Through therapy, Matt seeks to help individuals develop coping strategies that increase their ability to effectively managing the challenges they face allowing them to reach their personal life goals. Outside of work, Matt enjoys the beach, live music, spending time with family and is an avid baseball fan.
