We all come to therapy for different reasons. Whether to talk, make a change, learn something new about yourself or just be here, making this move is a great first step. I am here to support you in your process and understand that every person is unique in how you go through it and get through it. I will provide you with a place to hear your voice with mindful compassion, personal exploration and self-discovery. Whatever you are experiencing with your thoughts and feelings, we can work through them together. We can foster an understanding of your feelings, how they influence your choices, develop personal coping strategies, gain greater self-awareness and empower your individuality to make life better for you. I have worked extensively with children, teens, and adults throughout my career as an Educator, Therapist and Group Facilitator specializing in anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders and stress management. My training as a yoga instructor brings a relaxing, mindfulness component to my practice. I have certifications in Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Anxiety and Depression in Children and Adolescents, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Clinical Mindfulness. Other interventions used throughout my career are Mindfulness CBT, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about supporting my clients with their goals and needs and believe in the resilience of the individual, permission to be human and the power of possibility.
