Nathan Brown is Clinical Social Work Associate in Maryland who started practicing in 2019. He has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Pre-Law from Lander University, a Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision with a focus in Counseling and Student Personnel Services from the University of Georgia. Nathan believes in a treatment philosophy and goal that helps clients tell their stories through guidance and support while offering appropriate interventions to help resolve, and cope with, challenges impacting activities of daily living and human functioning. His theoretical approach is person-centered, analytic psychology, multicultural and social justice counseling, feminist and womanist theory, narrative theory, solution focused, existentialism, systems, and depth therapy.
