Dr. Negru`s approach to treatment is both scientific and holistic and goes beyond talk therapy to incorporate neurotherapies and neuro-training tools for improving brain function and health and designing optimal habits.
Dr. Negru integrates cutting-edge, results-oriented therapies with proven effectiveness for a variety of conditions and concerns including traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, obsessive compulsive behaviors, chronic pain, relational problems, and life challenges. She draws on evidence-based treatment methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Neurofeedback, mindfulness-based approaches, and attachment-focused therapies.
Dr. Negru has a broad educational and training background. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from A. I. Cuza University in Romania, a master`s degree in Psychology from Villanova University, and holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She received advanced trainings in treating emotional trauma, obsessive compulsive behaviors, phobias, and relational issues.
She enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
