Gail Dillon, M.Ed, APC

Gail Dillon received her Master s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William amp Mary, and her Bachelors degree in English and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has experience working with those who struggle with a wide variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addictions, grief and trauma. Her background and vast life experience add to her ability to understand and relate to her clients with both compassion and insight.

Gail served in the Army as an enlisted soldier and in the Air Force as an officer. She was also an Army spouse for two decades and has a unique understanding of veterans, their families, and the challenges of the military lifestyle. Gail tailors therapy to her client s needs, frequently working from a person-centered perspective. She draws from other modalities as well, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT , Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy EMDR . She believes the mind and body are intricately connected, and often uses a holistic approach to empower and educate her clients to help them reach their full potential.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her sons outdoors usually hiking, biking, or walking her Goldendoodle puppy. She also enjoys yoga, reading, trying new restaurants with her husband and friends and listening to live music.
