Alesha Lieser a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia who has been practicing since 2016. She obtained her Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Aurora University in Aurora, IL and moved to Richmond, VA in 2018. For the past eight years she has gained clinical training working with children, adolescents, and adults in community-based and hospital settings. Specifically, she has unique, specialized experience working with military veterans, children with chronic illnesses, and individuals experiencing complicated grief. She utilizes an integrative and individualized approach when working with each client through techniques informed by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Outside of work, Alesha is a passionate lover of books, and enjoys spending quality time with her family and her three cats.
