When you first meet Jack, he might have little Roo tucked up under his arm. This communicates his gentle kindness better than any words could. The son of a veterinarian, Jack clearly has learned to interact with vulnerability with calm tender care. He approaches his work with attentive caution, carefully guiding clients toward healthier adaptations, and kinder inner narratives. Offering Animal Assisted Therapy, Jack sees clients of all ages 4-65+ — he specializes in working with kids, animal assisted therapy, trauma, AODA, adoption/foster care related issues, communication, couples, and family work.

Jack likes to think of the client as the one doing the driving while he provides navigational support and reminders when we need to fill up the gas tank. Roo, his co-therapist, adopted from the humane society as a pup, was born without her front legs. She doesn't let that slow her down a bit. She has wheels, but prefers to be out of them and mostly hops and scoots on her chest or walks on her hind legs. She is the sweetest most well mannered Chihuahua ever, and it definitely seems like she was put here to inspire and support others.
