Tierrah Chism, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado with over one year of experience. She is a native of California where she has been in the field of Social Services for over ten years working in various settings with diverse populations. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the California State University of Monterey Bay with a concentration in Social Work and continued her studies at Brandman University where she earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

Since then, she has worked in a school setting providing preventative substance use counseling and psychoeducation with middle to high school-aged youth. She then wanted to help others to work through their mental health from adolescence to adult age.

Tierrah embraces the client-centered care model and strives to be an advocate for those suffering with mental health conditions with a focus on mindfulness. Her personal philosophy is to provide care that is tailored to meet the unique needs of individual clients, promote a caring therapeutic environment, and maintain a trusting provider and client relationship.

Tierrah feels her role is to support individuals in meeting their goals who are feeling challenged with career and life problems, as well as individuals seeking emotional, creative, and spiritual growth. She enjoys working with all ages including adolescents with anxiety, depression, and interpersonal issues.

In her free time, Tierrah enjoys being in nature, painting or coloring and hanging out with her three dogs, playing outside.
