I understand how challenging it can be to find a therapist that feels like a good fit. In order to help you with this decision, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I grew up in the midwest and went on to earn my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University, which is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. I’ve spent the last 8 years working and training in college counseling centers (e.g., School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Purdue, DePaul University). I was drawn to the diverse range of people I got to work with and the unique challenges that inevitably occur during times of early adulthood and life transition. My work in Chicago has allowed me the opportunity to work with clients from a multitude of different countries of origin. Over the course of my career, my work with clients has also centered around sexual and gender identity and helping individuals uncover and then fulfill their most authentic selves. I have supported many individuals on their paths towards healing after trauma, and I continually strive to ensure that I am offering my clients well-grounded, trauma-informed care. Through my work, I offer compassion and empowerment.

I believe that one of the most important and powerful components to healing is to feel understood. To help my clients move towards healing and growth, I provide a warm, open space for them to explore the difficult aspects of self. I believe that resilience lies within all of us, and I am grateful to support clients as they reclaim their strength, become their genuine self, and build a life of happiness of their own choosing.
