Psychologist and Therapist in Littleton, Colorado Vanessa G Williams, PhD

Vanessa G Williams, PhD

Dr. Vanessa G. Williams is a Psychologist in Colorado who has been practicing since 2007. Dr. Williams offers neuropsychological evaluations (assessment of cognition, including memory, language, reasoning, attention, spatial skills, etc including brief assessment of mood/behavior/personality as it pertains to a possible neurological condition). This includes a comprehensive evaluation of an adult’s (18+) cognitive functioning for a variety of reasons including (but not limited to): question of a neurodegenerative condition, such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, or other types of dementia; cognition in Parkinson’s disease; question of changes in cognition associated with autoimmune or demyelinating conditions, such as multiple sclerosis; quantification of cognitive deficits after a neurological injury/event, like stroke, brain tumor, or moderate to severe TBI; question of early stages of dementia versus depression/concerns about cognitive functioning, including changes in memory or other thinking skills or changes in daily functioning because of a decline in thinking skills; non-forensic assessment of cognitive functioning in adults who are having difficulty in a competitive work environment; cognition in epilepsy. Outside of work, Dr. Williams enjoys volunteering for multiple animal rescue organizations, supporting her high schooler (chauffeuring, mostly ), and reading. She was born and raised in Colorado, but has family across the US and they find creative ways to spend as much time together as possible!
