Group Focus:

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week experiential program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, a professor emeritus of medicine and the creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and the author of many books including Full Catastrophe Living. Discover research-backed techniques and tools to develop skills to help you tap into inner strengths, promoting greater life satisfaction, improved health, and overall well-being, cultivating a different relationship between you and the things that challenge you in your life.

Participants: Ages 18-70 and all genders are welcome

Ron Pilato, PsyD

Dr. Ron Pilato is a Psychologist who has been practicing since 2003. Following his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and Master’s degree from the California Institute for Integral Studies, he graduated from the Wright Institute with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Getting Started

When:
Virtual sessions on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., starting January 11 and ending March 15, 2025. The January 11 session is a required orientation session. And the March 1 session includes a daylong workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program is being offered via Virtual Online Sessions, and is not meeting in-person at this time. An Internet connected device will be required. Specific directions on accessing the sessions will be provided after your registration is completed. Registration is available to adults between the ages of 18-65 in California.
