DBT Skills Adult Group Therapy in Colorado
Gain positive coping skills and tools to help your mental health
Group Focus:
This Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Group will focus on learning and implementing DBT skills that aim to increase resilience and help individuals change unwanted behaviors, emotions, and thinking patterns
that cause distress.
Group members will learn and practice skills in mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation and distress tolerance in order to better their overall wellbeing.
The group sessions will provide worksheets to complete from Marsha M. Linehan’s “DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets, Second Edition” (ISBN 978-1-57230-781-0). It is not required to purchase but individuals can choose to purchase if they would like to have their own copy.
Participants: 18- to 65-year-olds and all genders/non-genders are welcome. Individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and depression with suicidal ideation are best suited for this group. Special considerations can be made for 16 and 17-year-olds or other individuals outside of this age range.
Cost: Insurance and self-pay are accepted

Getting Started
When:
Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m., starting October 22, 2024. This group will last 24 weeks.
