About Amber Bentley (She/Her)

Amber Bentley helps adults and older adults throughout Ohio navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a personalized approach to mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she works with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Amber creates a welcoming environment where patients can explore difficult experiences, build resilience, and develop practical skills to improve their overall well-being.

Amber provides a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient support. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and couples counseling. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient’s unique values, goals, and circumstances.

She has a special interest in helping individuals navigate major life transitions and emotional challenges across adulthood. Whether someone is coping with relationship concerns, grief, midlife changes, or the impact of trauma, Amber works collaboratively with patients to identify strengths and create meaningful progress. She is particularly experienced in supporting those struggling with anxiety, depression, and alcohol or drug use issues, while also offering care for a variety of additional mental health concerns.

Amber believes that successful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. She strives to empower patients to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and create lasting positive change in their lives.

Outside of her clinical work, Amber enjoys birding, spending time by the lake, attending hockey games, being around animals, watching movies, and making memories with her family. These personal interests help her maintain balance and bring warmth and authenticity to her work with patients.
