I've been a patient in the mental health system for a couple of decades. I've not met a therapist or a psychiatrist, in any institution, that didn't help me in some way in all that time. I understand there is a stigma in our society when it comes to mental health and lots of folks are intimidated by the process. Submitting to the fact that one needs help is hard. Being vulnerable enough to talk about it is harder. But both of these things are essential. You have to commit to see results. I started going to LifeStance a couple years ago. I began seeing a psychiatrist in-person and also a therapist through virtual appointments. I've dealt with anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember, but after my divorce I was barely functional. Present day, I cannot stress enough how amazing these people are and have been. They're professionals, and undeniably compassionate. It is remarkable how much one can benefit from being listened to. If only for that reason, I cannot recommend them more highly.

Lifestance has been a game changer for my mental health. I felt so neglected and ignored by the clinic and like everything was jumping through hoops. I have struggled my whole life with mental health and never finding much help. When I started seeing Michaela Carter Maradiaga, NP things finally started looking up. She listened and asked all the right questions. She really got to know me before we even talked about medications and she took a conservative route. She is quick to get apt when you need them and when there are issues she is on top of it. I have never felt better mentally and I am grateful to have such a smart and empathetic individual managing my care.

I recently began utilizing Lifestance's services and I am so thankful I did. My provider, Angela, and her staff - in particular, Ashley - are EXCELLENT at their jobs. They know what they are doing and they do their jobs with grace, understanding, patience, and immeasurable kindness. Not only that, they are good people whose goodness you can feel - even through the phone and virtual appointments! I am so appreciative I found them, and I look forward to the journey of healing ahead, supported by good people I can trust.

It was my first visit for a very sensitive situation and upon arriving I felt so welcomed and at ease. The receptionist was so attentive, friendly, and caring. Even my husband stated how warm and inviting that appointment was for us. 100 stars if I could give so and I will say that I am an office manager for a counseling office and it was so reassuring to receive the same treatment that is a standard in our practice.

Lifestance is a well-run practice, offering flexibility and an online portal for billing, messages and appointments. Claims are always filed and paid promptly. Pre-auth when needed, is often the same or next day. My therapist, Angela Brickner is the most caring and thorough practitioner I have ever had. I am really glad I found them!

Considering i was already accepting of what i needed help, the process was smooth. They were able to read me, understand and diagnose without making me feel judged or pressured. All these years I was afraid to go to a professional and now I feel silly because that was the best thing I did.
