I found myself in the position of having to get a new psychiatrist when my prior psychiatrist was closing his practice. I was given a referral list for other providers, but they were not taking new patients. LifeStance health was one of the few providers I was able to find. I was taken on as a new patient by nurse practitioner Courtney and therapist Jeannie. I am extremely pleased of the care that they are providing me with. They are a God send. Their facility is conveniently located off I 71 in Strongsville. I would recommend LifeStance to my friends should they be of need.

My Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Courtney Brumfield is fantastic. She’s the type of person that you feel like you’ve known all along. That’s how comfortable you feel with her. She’s a genuinely warm person with a very non-clinical approach that is unhurried and gives you the a sense of being heard. She’s very responsive to med change and adjustment if something is just not working well or has unwelcome side-effects. She’s the first and only person I’ve met with for a psychiatric concern and I could not have picked better.

My therapist, Stephanie, is phenomenal thus far. The booking process was terrible in the beginning. I booked an appointment online during a critical period and my appointment did not exist. I then had someone in the office tell me, “Oh yeah, sometimes that doesn’t work,” as if expecting an appointment and then being disappointed by not having one AT ALL is not detrimental to an already struggling psyche. So, two stories going on there. My therapist seems genuine and educated and capable, and that’s the important part.

I have been only been with Courtney Brumfield for a few months. She really helps me sort through my thoughts . Then she let's me know what she thinks because I don't look at everything.. She has helped me out of those dark holes that I experienced prior seeing her. My other n.p. Just kept changing my medicine and I had to wait and see him every 3 months. She is very helpful and I feel so much better and happier.

I had a seamless booking experience. More importantly, I was very pleased with the patience and kindness my therapist, Jeannie, showed me. This was my first time truly exploring therapy & I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m happy I found a friendly and professional office so close to home. If you live a little further away, I feel it’s worth the drive.
