Over the last few months, I’ve had the pleasure of being helped by Dr. Theresa Masonbrink. More than anyone else I’ve dealt with in the past, Dr. Masonbrink makes sure to cross her Ts and dot her Is when it comes to the well being of her patients. Aside from the tremendous help she’s provided to me in helping to determine where I needed help in life, she is also an absolute pleasure to talk to as she’s extremely kind. In the Medical space, it’s all to common for providers to give you a quick analysis and immediately jump to conclusions; Dr. Masonbrink however will consider all possibilities and will consistently check in with her patients to see how they are doing (willing to make adjustments accordingly). Dr. Masonbrink has been great in the help she has provided to me; I am very lucky to have made contact with her!

I was very nervous when I began seeing my psychiatrist here because of bad past experiences. When I began seeing Dr. David Kwon, my fears were immediately put at ease. Dr. Kwon takes the time to listen to my concerns with no judgement. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely listens to my questions. This is the first time in my life that I have felt like my needs were being met because I found a doctor who truly cares enough to listen and understand my concerns. Through trial and error over the last 2 years, I have finally found peace and can begin living life again. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone feeling like they need help.

Dr.Masonbrink is awesome. I have had psychiatrists in the past who seemed aloof and disinterested. Many came across as feeling they were superior to me, the lowly patient. Dr. Masonbrink is so easy to talk to and celebrates every small victory I make. She is truly invested in helping me be the best I can be. We discuss my treatment and she asks what I am comfortable with changing or doing. I am 100% involved in my care. This is not how most psychiatrists I have worked with are like. What a blessing she has been in my life. I recommend her 100%. My life is getting better day by day since I started seeing her.

It takes time to get on the right track but with the help of my psychologist I can say my mental health has never been better. The convenience of the video appts and online patient portal have also been a huge help not just making it easier for me to show up for my appts but to communicate with my provider when needed. I always receive quick responses a lot of times within hours of messaging. She has also made it possible for me to get in sooner at times I really needed to be seen sooner than later.

I was so incredibly blown away by my experience with Dr. Tess today. She was attentive, caring, kind, and listened like no doctor I’ve ever talked to before. The prescriber showed genuine concern and demonstrated superior knowledge when deciding which medications to provide the patient for maximum effectiveness. Highly recommend LifeStance.
