David Walters, M.A. Counseling Psychology MA, LPCC-S,
About David Walters (He/Him)
David Walters helps adults across Ohio navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions with practical, evidence-based individual therapy. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at LifeStance Health, he supports clients in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and developing tools to manage stress, midlife changes, and personal challenges. His approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques, while offering additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s needs.
He works with adults across life stages, including young adults and those in midlife, providing care that is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in real-world application. David has particular experience helping individuals manage men’s issues, life transitions, and mood-related concerns, while also offering support for a broader range of mental health needs.
David is committed to helping clients address the concerns most meaningful to them, using a flexible and personalized therapeutic approach that aligns with each person’s values and goals.
David creates a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore challenges, gain insight, and build lasting skills for change. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys running, hiking, white water kayaking, and skiing, which reflect his appreciation for balance and overall wellness. He provides services to individuals throughout Ohio.
