Adults With ADHD Group in Ohio
For adults with ADHD, group therapy can offer a consistent space to reinforce successful strategies, gain support and encouragement, and learn new coping techniques.
Group Overview:
Despite mass amounts of people being diagnosed with ADHD, this population is still being stigmatized, underestimated, and misunderstood. Our Adults with ADHD group therapy will seek to connect neurodivergent individuals with other like-minded individuals so we can build community and support, learn more about the diagnosis, and discover ways to maximize the condition into a strength.
Topics Include:
- Week 1: What is ADHD?
- Week 2: Treatment Options
- Week 3: Time Management
- Week 4: Organization
- Week 5: Cognitive Distortions
- Week 6: Managing Money
- Week 7: Successful Relationships
- Week 8: Succeeding at Work and College
- Week 9 (optional): for Significant Others
Participants: Men and women, ages 18+, who have an official diagnosis of ADHD. Up to 12 individuals may participate.
