Ashley Bagwell is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing since 2015. She graduated from Winthrop University with a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling. Ashley believes in the ability for the client to choose their path, manage expectations, and learn to control thoughts and feelings in order to experience happiness and develop lasting relationships. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Person Centered Treatment to form a therapeutic alliance with the client, help build cognitive skills and build confidence in their ability to overcome past trauma and experiences and manage their daily symptoms. School-based mental health with adolescents and young adults are Ashley’s main area of focus. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, coaching her daughter’s softball team, watching the Atlanta Falcons on Sundays with her son or attending the occasional concert as self-care.
